Yaesu is excited to introduce the new FTM-200DR, a 50W VHF/UHF Dual Band C4FM/FM Mobile Transceiver.
The FTM-200DR is a versatile C4FM Digital multi-functional transceiver with a single receiver. It provides a reliable and stable 50W transmit performance. Equipped with a heavy-duty heat sink featuring FACC (Funnel Air Convection Conductor), it ensures efficient cooling. The speaker delivers 3W of clear and crisp receive audio, meticulously tuned for radio communication. The 2-inch full-color display offers high visibility and allows you to choose from three selectable colors: White, Blue, or Red.
The front panel of the FTM-200DR is detachable and can be conveniently mounted at your preferred operating position. This transceiver also supports optional Bluetooth® wireless operation using the SSM-BT10 Headset or a compatible Bluetooth® headset.
The FTM-200DR introduces the YAESU PMG (Primary Memory Group) function, enabling PMG-SR Monitor (Primary Memory Group with a Single Receiver). You can register up to 5 PMG channels, irrespective of whether you’re in VFO or Memory channel operation, and switch between AUTO or MANUAL mode.
With 1104 Memory channels, each programmable with 16-character alpha-numeric tags, the MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) function automatically categorizes memory channels into various bands such as ALL, AIR, VHF, UHF, and OTHER.
This transceiver incorporates popular C4FM digital communication features, including Automatic Mode Select (AMS), Digital Group ID (DG-ID) operation, and Smart Navigation Function. It also supports Worldwide WIRES-X Internet Communication, allowing you to set up a Fixed Node using an HRI-200 or a Portable Digital Node with the optional SCU-40 cable kit.
The FTM-200DR features a Custom Function List (CFL) that provides quick access to frequently used functions by pressing the [F Menu] key. By default, 10 functions are listed, and you can customize up to 8 functions from the 124 items in the setup menu.
These features make the FTM-200DR a powerful and versatile mobile transceiver for both analog and digital communications.
