Description
The Hitachi IH100 Currency Counter is an advanced and intelligent single-pocket currency counter and discriminator with three counterfeit detection modes: Ultra-Violet (UV), Magnetic (MG), and Infrared (IR). It uses Full-IR-CIS sensors to recognize the values and counts of U.S. currency. The clamshell-styled front cover allows for easy access to sensors and rollers for cleaning and removing notes.
Features of the Hitachi IH100 Currency Counter:
- Counts and identifies all US denominations.
- Rejects suspected banknotes and eliminates identification errors. The machine stops automatically, and the suspect banknote will not be counted.
Three Counting Modes:
- Mixed: Counts mixed currencies without presorting and provides individual counts and values.
- Piece: Standard piece counting.
- Mixed Sorting: Counts one denomination and stops on any other denomination.
Three Counterfeit Modes:
- UV – Ultra-Violet Detection
- MG – Magnetic Detection
- IR – Infrared Detection
The machine is very tolerant of worn and soiled banknotes. It features a hinged design for easy access and cleaning, a large blue backlit LCD, a small and portable footprint, presets, and manual batch settings. It also includes RS232 and USB ports for connectivity and updatable software for new bills via USB ports.
